PhD Student

School of Engineering & Physical Sciences, Institute of Mechanical, Process & Energy Engineering, Heriot-Watt University, Riccarton, UK

Nick is a full time PhD student at the Research Centre for Carbon Solutions. His project focuses on optimising the injectivity, recovery, and safety of underground hydrogen storage in porous media (depleted hydrocarbon reservoirs and aquifers), utilising numerical and experimental techniques.

Roles & Responsibilities

Research interests

Fluid flow in porous media, interfacial phenomena, underground hydrogen storage, marine transportation of hydrogen & hydrogen carriers.
