Biography
Fergus Mcilwaine is a PhD Student in Susana Garcia’s group. His PhD focusses on the data-driven design of adsorption-based carbon capture processes. He is a developer of the PrISMa platform where he is involved in material discovery for carbon capture and methane capture. He has a background in chemical engineering and is experienced in process modelling, metal organic frameworks, machine learning, high performance computing, and Python.
