Two PhD Research Students, Shima Ghanaaatian and Tipwadee Jumpaengjan, from Research Centre for Carbon Solutions (RCCS) successfully attended the EXPO&more International Workshop organized by the Institute of Crystallography (IC) which was held on 30th Sep-3rd October in Bari, Italy.
The EXPO&more International Workshop was a four-day software fayre dedicated to the more recently developed versions of the open-source computer programs EXPO, QUALX, OChemDb and RootProf. The workshop presenters exposed the theoretical framework of the software, the program workflow, the latest developments and examples of application. The main aim of the workshop was to familiarise participants with the software.
Hands-on sessions gave two attended RCSS PhD students the opportunity to utilise personally the packages under the supervision of the technical experts, as well as to process their own data.
