The International Biomass Conference & Expo Review Committee (IBCE) invited IMPEE Ph.D. student Mr. Muhammad Farooq as Key-Note Speaker at International Biomass Conference & Expo held from 11-14th April 2016 at Charlotte Convention Center, North Carolina, United States. He was one of the only four Ph.D. students invited among more than hundred speakers. Mr. Muhammad Farooq presented his research findings under Track-3 Biogas & Landfill gas titled ‘In-situ Regenerative Activated Carbon Adsorption for Production of Low-Cost Bio-methane from Biogas’. “This was a prodigious opportunity for me to present my research at the world’s largest biomass event. My interaction with the gamut of bio-energy maestros at this conference contributed added new dimensions to my research and enriched my vision. It also improved my research profile and made me realize how our research at Heriot-Watt is contributing to the practical implications in the respective domain. I am very grateful to IBCE & IMPEE for providing financial support to attend the conference”.
