Dr Aimaro Sanna has presented his work “Minimization of energy consumption of CO2 mineralization using recyclable ammonium salts” at the Fifth International Conference on Accelerated Carbonation for Environmental and Material Engineering (ACEME) held on June 21-24, at the Columbia University, New York. This work has been produced as part of the on-going CICCS research and development activities on mineral carbonation.
The ACEME conferences aim at promoting research and development activities on accelerated carbonation at an international level and discuss the latest advances in the field of theoretical and applied research on accelerated carbonation of various types of natural materials and industrial residues and in the context of carbon capture and storage (CCS). International experts from research institutions and from industry presented their findings at ACEME, which resulted in a vibrant multidisciplinary meeting.
