Dr Laura Bastianini has been invited to be a keynote speaker at the next ERW2025 conference (Link). Her talk will serve as a keynote for the mineral-based OAE session where she will present her research work on kinetics of hydrated carbonates in seawater aiming OAE. Laura will also be presenting her previous PhD work on minerals and waters at alkaline waste sites, with the development of a new CDR technology that aims to tackle climate change and decontaminate anthropogenic sites from heavy metals using enhanced microbial carbonation.
