The CICCS team including Prof.Mercedes Maroto-Valer, Dr.Aimaro Sanna, Dr.Qi Liu (Jerry), Dr.Oluwafunminola Ola, Dr.Chih-Wei Lin, Mr.Theodoros Chronopoulos and Mr.Fernando Vega, attended the 12th Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies (GHGT-12) conference in Austin, Texas of the United State from 5 to 9 October, 2014.
The Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies (GHGT) conference series started in 1997 following the merger of the earlier series of International Conference on Carbon Dioxide Removal (ICCDR) and the Greenhouse Gas Mitigation options conference. IEA Greenhouse Gas R&D Programme (IEAGHG) are the guardians of the GHGT conferences which are held every two years. The GHGT conference is the largest one focusing on Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS).Over 1,600 delegates participated in the GHGT-12. The CICCS team delivered 10 poster presentations in the conference, covering different areas of carbon capture, transportation, storage and utilisation. The journal papers related to the presentations will be published in Energy Procedia in 2015. The GHGT-13 will be held in Lausanne, Switzerland from 14 to 18 November 2016.
