The Newton-funded UK and Malaysia Green Data Centre project brought the £6.42M deal to build South East Asia’s largest sustainable data centre
Submersify® branded fluid submersion data centre cooling technology has clinched a £6.42 million deal to build and deploy an ultra-green data centre facility in Shinsei Malaysia 1, reportedly South East Asia’s largest data centre which is located in Malaysia.
Once completed, the facility will be capable of supporting 2 megawatts of equipment or up to 8000 servers to be submersed in GDC’s proprietary coolant contributing to increased environmental stewardship and lower operating costs, according to officials.
