Biography:

Enrique started his PhD in the combustion and gasification group of the Instituto de Carboquimica” of the Spanish Research Council (CSIC). His dissertation was part of an agreement between the CSIC and CTGAS-ER/Petrobras and was focused on syngas/Hydrogen production from liquid fuels using oxygen carriers (metal oxides), process known as Chemical Looping reforming. In November 2017 he started working at Heriot-Watt University as a research associate. He has published 10 research papers so far and participated in near twenty conferences.

Research Interests:

His main research areas are CO2 capture, Sorbents, Carbon materials, OMCs, Fluidized bed reactors, oxygen carriers, Chemical looping processes, TGA analysis.
