Biography
Dr Sean Higgins is the Laboratory Manager for the Research Centre for Carbon Solutions. Bringing ten years of experience in the management of academic-industrial research facilities, he is currently the first point of contact for the day-to-day laboratory operations. Specifically, he coordinates the Health and Safety aspects, infrastructure maintenance, user induction and training, resources and equipment booking, specialist instrument calibration and validation, and management of external contract research and analysis projects. Sean has a Ph.D. in organic chemistry and extensive experience in automated synthesis and analysis techniques along with instrument maintenance.
