PhD student Sotirios Efstathios Antonoudis attended the 8th Post Combustion Capture Conference (PCCC-8) in Marseille, where he presented the group’s recent work on the techno-economic modelling of the ConsenCUS CO₂ capture technology.
His presentation focused on assessing the large-scale performance of the technology, identifying trade-offs between CO₂ capture efficiency and energy consumption, and examining how design and operational parameters influence both capital and operational costs.
Although the ConsenCUS project is nearing completion, Sotirios emphasized that dissemination efforts will continue, with several publications currently in preparation.
