Biography:
Neda completed her BSc and MSc in Chemical engineering in 2013 and 2016 respectively. Her master’s project concerned the kinetic and selectivity modeling of Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis over Fe-Ni/Al2O3 catalyst. After completing her MSc Neda started her professional career as a researcher and chemical engineer. Here she worked on three environmental projects resulted in three patents. Neda will now be working with Prof. Susana Garcia and Dr. Ruaraidh McIntosh in developing a photocatalytic system that will capture CO2 and convert it to hydrocarbon fuels and other value-added products.
Research Interests:
Neda's main research interests are Catalysis, Plasmonic photocatalysis, CO2 utilization, and CH4 conversion.
