Michael is a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) graduate of Chemical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology - Nigeria. His undergraduate project work involved the design and operation of a digester in bio-gas production. After this period, Michael travelled to the UK for his MSc degree in Project Management at Robert Gordon University – Aberdeen where he carried out a research on the impact of multilayer subcontracting on project performance in Nigeria’s construction industry.
Michael has worked with the Nigerian Gas Company as a Trainee Plant Operator on the natural gas plant in the Lagos Operations Department and was with NOV Portable Power, Aberdeen during his technical implementation programme. He also has finance work experience from his time spent in the banking industry both in Nigeria and the UK. Michael is motivated by the impact that operations of organisations and governments have on the environment. His research interests borders on process safety.
Michael is an avid football buff with a soft spot for Manchester City Football Club and, he spends some of his time playing football leisurely as well as studying the ancient arts of Taekwondo.
